Professional Coach and Player: Muhamed Fazlagic

Coach Fazlagic (pronounced: faz –lah–GEECH) has been involved with American soccer since coming to the United States 12 years ago. He is founder and head coach at United Soccer Club in Louisville, Kentucky. We are pleased to have Muhamed join us for the 4th of July Soccer Camp.

Muhamed is involved with the Kentucky Olympic Development Program and has coached State Teams with different age groups. Recently he became a Region II Olympic Development Program Coaching Staff member.

With an extensive playing background and Muhamed has been involved with soccer at the highest level. Beginning his career in 1979 with F.C. Sarajevo in Bosnia, he played professionally in Europe until he ended his pro career in 1994.

Coach Fazlagic has had the unparalleled coaching experience; being trained by Mirsad Fazlagic (his uncle) who coached the Yugoslavian U20 National team to World Championship in 1987. In addition, he has learned from Craig Brown who led the Scottish National Team to four consecutive World Cup Finals appearances.

Coach Fazlagic holds an A License from the United States Soccer Federation as well as an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaching Association of America. Most recently he completed the first part of the UEFA A License in Wales, UK.
